The project of Science and Technology Park of Castilla La Mancha in Albacete, was conceived by the end of 2001 with the creation of the “Fundación Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Albacete” foundation, whose board of directors is represented by the Castilla-La Mancha Province Authority, The Regional University, Albacete’s Municipal Authority and Albacete’s house of representatives.
The Science and Technology Park was created to foster an environment where innovative ideas and R & D can flourish in order to create an entrepreneurial culture, thus improving our regional competitiveness.
Its location in Albacete, the most important city in the comunity provides a privileged situation communications wise and a wide industrial development with a dynamism that has proven to be essential to the success of this project.
Albacete’s Science and Technology Park’s role is to act as the structure where Science, technology and Companies can interact under the main objective of helping the companies reach their goals in areas such as competitiveness. The park is also a space that offers spaces and technological instruments to boost and facilitate cooperation among companies.
