Pielcu, S.L.
More than forty years ago, Mr. José A. Piqueras started making the traditional Spanish leather wine bags.
In 1992 he funded PIELCU, by doing this move, he diversified the leather wine bag manufacturing into leather sheathing and covers for the cutlery and weapon industry, introducing new materials, mainly Dupont's Cordura; thus an expansion got started at an international level which has taken the company to over 50 countries.

Pielcu, has installed the most sophisticated equipment into its production lines, but always keeping a hand made touch, as part of the company's permanent philosophy. Its production capacity has led them to take new challenges, such as the large government contracts to supply the Spanish Armed Forces and Pielcu has been doing this since 2001 and until now.
In the year 2002 Pielcu acquired "F. Aventuralia, S.A.", a company into the cutlery, sports and camping business. With this acquisition, the company saw a fast growth rate and in 2006 they decided to go join both company's activities into Pielcu, S.L., but keeping Aventuralia as a house brand; they have been also adding other prestigious brands in which. The result of all these decisions is that they have been able to consolidate in the market by being present in more than five thousand points of sale.
